FAQ's FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why are teachers needed in the United States?
Thousands of faculty posts in American primary and secondary schools go empty annually. A constant stream of stand-ins and unqualified staff creates a patchwork of support. The United States grants visas to highly skilled instructors from foreign nations who satisfy the requirements and qualifications within a school system to meet this need.

1. When do you accept applications?
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. We are currently accepting applications for the 2023-24 school year and beyond.
2. How do I prove my English proficiency?
Every state demands a particular English exam. The Nelson Denny Reading Proficiency Test is required in some states, while the TOEFL iBT is required in others.
3. How does Banasyn Corp. assist teachers in their placement?
All of our applicants receive the most thorough professional verification and placement services from us. From consulting and self-marketing through placement, we go alongside teachers. To recommend which districts will be a fit, we work with a group of educators who are actively involved in the public education system.
4. Is placement guaranteed?
No, placement is not guaranteed. Our goal is to match teachers with schools. However, there are administrative decisions that are beyond our control. Final hiring decisions come from the school districts.
Districts coordinate with us to make decisions, and we oversee communication between the district and our teacher applicants. The teacher applicant will be hired if all educational credentials, certifications, and legal requirements are met.
5. Is there a placement fee?
There is no placement fee, either. We collect only payments for paperwork processing and relocation that benefit the teachers. Once the visa applications have been granted, the applicant is billed a fair one-time cost.
You will not be charged until after your visa has been issued. Additionally, the administrative procedures required by employment determine your cost.
6. What type of visa will an international teacher be issued?
The usual visa is a J1 Visa, which is specifically for educators coming to the United States. Exceptional teachers may be offered H1B Visas.
Schools have the option to offer H1B visas or J1 visas. The most up to date information can be found with the State Department.
7. When are teachers expected to begin teaching in the United States?
In August, we place our teachers. If a teacher with a visa is not hired for the forthcoming school year, we work with school districts to support the candidate again the following year if a post becomes available in the middle of the academic year.
Those interested in applying should get in touch as soon as possible to start the procedure for the upcoming August.
8. May I bring my family with me to the US?
Yes, you may bring your immediate family. This includes a spouse and dependents, who become eligible for a J2 Visa upon your approval.
9. Do I need a driver's license?
Yes, having a driver's license is advantageous. For several of our school districts, relying on public transportation is not an option due to their location.
Do not think that just because a city has public transit, you will be able to find a teaching position there.
10. Why do teacher applicants need a credential evaluation?
To assure validity and a standard that is comparable to a credential issued in the United States, a credential examination is required.
11. Can I use another service to vet my credentials?
Yes, you can utilize any recognized credentialing provider. Please contact our office for a preferred list of credentialing service providers for our school districts. Since we have a corporate account with the source of credentials, it will save you time and money if we handle the credentials for you.
12. Can I choose the state where I want to teach?
Yes, a teacher candidate may ask for a specific location, and we will consider that. However, we cannot promise that such a request will be granted. Regardless of location, securing a job comes first.
13. How can I obtain a teaching license in the United States?
A teaching certificate valid for a year will be issued on your behalf by the employing District in collaboration with Banasyn Educational consultants before you depart for the United States. You must pass the state certification exam during your first year of teaching in the US in order for a long-term standard certificate to be given.
14. Once my visa is approved, what documents should I bring to job interviews in the US?

Applicants must bring their
•Resume

•Diploma
•Current Teaching License stating that the license is in good standing.

As a teacher, you will be a government employee, and receiving a commensurate salary and benefits.
